About

About me

I am Modestas Dirsė, a massage therapy specialist. I studied massage at Art of Beauty in Vilnius from 2019 to 2021 and continue to deepen my knowledge through professional massage training.

Most clients come to me because they spend many hours sitting, feel tension in the back, shoulders or neck, train actively, or notice that the body has become stiff and harder to relax.

My massages are usually deeper and more intensive. This is not a spa-style massage for sleeping through the session — it is focused bodywork where communication, breathing and feedback are important.

Services

Services

Deep tissue massageFor deeper muscle tension, stiffness and discomfort in the back, shoulders, neck, hips or legs.

Deep tissue massage is for people who feel deeper muscle tension, stiffness or discomfort in the back, shoulders, neck, hips or legs.

The work is slower and more focused, with more attention to tense tissues, sensitive areas and trigger points when needed.

This is deeper bodywork, so communication about pressure, sensations and body response is important.

Please tell me before the massage if you have injuries, hernias, acute pain or relevant health conditions.

Trigger point massageFocused work with specific sensitive or tense muscle points.

Trigger point massage focuses on specific tense points that may feel sensitive, painful or stuck.

Pressure is applied to the areas where the most tension is felt, often around the neck, shoulders, back, hips or legs.

The pressure may be more intensive, so breathing and feedback during the session are important.

Visceral / abdominal massageFocused work with the abdominal area, breathing and tension held in the centre of the body.

Visceral, or abdominal, massage is focused work with the abdominal area, which can react to stress, breathing habits, posture, sitting and fatigue.

The work can be gentle or deeper, always following your sensations, breathing and body response.

It may be useful when you feel abdominal tension, heaviness, shallow breathing or stress held in the body.

This massage is not treatment for digestive, organ or other medical conditions and does not replace medical advice.

Before this massage, please inform me about pregnancy, abdominal operations, hernias, acute abdominal pain, inflammation, fever, circulation or clotting disorders, oncological conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure or other serious health conditions.

Foot reflexology massageFoot reflexology massage is gentle work with different areas of the feet, with pressure adjusted to individual sensitivity.

During the session, different areas of the feet are massaged with the fingers and thumbs. The aim is relaxation, foot comfort and attention to areas that may feel sensitive after everyday load.

Some areas of the feet may feel more sensitive because of footwear, physical activity, prolonged standing or individual sensitivity. Tenderness is not used to diagnose illness or assess internal organs.

A full session (60 min) includes preparation, warm-up and work on all the reflex points. The short version (30 min) is for those with less time, focusing only on the most important reflex points.

Reflexology is not medical treatment and does not replace a doctor's advice. If you have serious health conditions, consult a doctor before your visit or mention them in the notes.

FAQ

How should I prepare for a massage?

Arrive a few minutes early, avoid a very heavy meal before the session, and mention injuries, sensitive areas, recent surgeries or health conditions so the massage can be tailored more safely.

Which massage should I choose for the first visit?

If you are unsure, a deep tissue back or full-body massage is usually a good first choice. If you feel specific tension in your legs, shoulders, feet or abdominal area, choose a more targeted service.

Should a massage be painful?

Deep tissue massage can be intense, but it should not cause sharp or unbearable pain. You can always ask to adjust the pressure or pause briefly during the session.

How often should I get a massage?

It depends on how you feel, your level of tension and your goal. For maintenance, once every few weeks may be enough, while stronger or recurring tension may benefit from a short series of visits.

Can muscles feel sore after a massage?

After a more intensive massage, mild muscle soreness can be normal and usually passes within 24–48 hours. Water, gentle movement and rest can help. If pain is strong or unusual, consult a specialist.
